Techniques -
Our driver education teaches up-to-date driving techniques for
twenty-first century traffic. These include enhanced vision skills,
hand position, steering methods, emergency avoidance and recovery,
traffic methodologies.

Training vehicles - Modern vehicles are equipped with
instructor brakes, mirrors and markings for the student's and the
public's safety. The vehicles offer the opportunity to teach hybrid
engines, conventional & anti-lock brakes, traction control, and
electronic stability control.

Teamwork -
Our driver education encourages instructors, novice drivers, parents
and mentors to work together as a team in practicing risk reduction
as a component of the life-long driver development process.

Risk -
Our driver education increases the probability that novice drivers
will recognize risk and potential consequences in order to make
reduced-risk choices.

Drug choices -
Our driver education encourages novice drivers to make choices to
eliminate alcohol and other drug use while using a motor vehicle.

Safety restraints -
Our driver education encourages novice drivers to use occupant
protection as a crash safety countermeasure.

Emotions -
Our driver education increases the probability novice drivers will
be more capable of using management skills to avoid aggressive
driving.

Distractions/Fatigue - Our driver education helps
novice drivers recognize factors that contribute to crashes. Of special
attention are factors of unrecognized tiredness and extended driving
periods. Distractions of cellular telephone usage (talking and texting),
passengers, eating, grooming, car controls, etc. are emphasized.

Defined education - Our facilities and vehicles are designed
specifically for teaching driver education. Classroom instruction
includes Power Point, visuals, videotapes, DVDs, textbooks, and
handouts for easy comprehension.
