Teenage Beginning Driver
   Course is designed for the teenager who wants to learn traffic systems, basic vehicle control, and driving techniques. The course is structured for a student's objective of obtaining a Nebraska Provisional Operations Permit. Many companies offer insurance discounts for completion of the course.

25 Hours Classroom


12 Hours "In Car"
(includes behind-the-wheel instruction,
      observation/ critiquing, drive exams for Provisional Operators License)
  • Managing risk when driving
  • Traffic Laws
  • Traffic Control System
  • Keeping fit to drive
      - Fatigue, emotions ("road rage")
      - Drug abuse, alcohol
  • Vehicle Controls
  • Basic maneuvers
  • Manual shift (classroom only)
  • Vision & perception (using your senses)
  • Management of time, space & visibility
  • Distractions while driving (cell phone, texting, passengers..)
  • Adverse driving conditions (weather, road, vehicle failure)
  • Railroad crossings
  • Trip planning
  • Trouble-free and economical driving
  • Loading and towing special vehicles
  • Collisions and insurance

Course approved by Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles.

($25.00 deposit required - non-refundable)
